Manchester City: Bayern eyes Haaland as Harry Kane replacement

Although Harry Kane is still under contract until 2027, Bayern Munich is already planning for life after the English striker.

According to BILD, Bayern Munich sees Norwegian forward Erling Haaland as a serious candidate to take over from Harry Kane in the next two to three years. The Norwegian, currently starring at Manchester City, could become a priority target for the Bavarians once the Kane era comes to a close.

Bayern’s forward-thinking approach is explained by Kane’s contract situation: the English striker is tied to the club until June 2027, but his future beyond that remains uncertain. Having previously struggled up front before the ex-Tottenham star’s arrival, the German giants appear determined to avoid a repeat scenario and are keen to secure their attacking succession in advance.

For the record, Erling Haaland—still under contract at Manchester City—has never hidden his affection for the English club, and at this stage, there are no signs that the Norwegian is looking to leave the Premier League any time soon.
