Manchester City begin their first reinforcements for next season!

The midfielder will now undergo a medical in the USA, where he is currently on international duty with England at the World Cup. The fee, which includes bonuses, marks one of the most expensive signings in British football history.

Anderson made 50 appearances for Forest this season, contributing five goals and four assists. Transfermarkt currently values him at €75 million. The move signals City’s intent to continue strengthening their squad with elite talent, and Anderson’s arrival will add depth and creativity to their midfield options. The deal is now expected to be finalised shortly.
