Manchester City: Gianluigi Donnarumma wants to win the Champions League

Having won the Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain, Gianluigi Donnarumma once again wants to lift the trophy with the big ears. This time, the Italian wants to achieve the feat with Manchester City.

Beaten by Arsenal (0-3) in the Community Shield, Manchester City made a perfect recovery in the Premier League. Enzo Maresca's team has won all five of its matches in all competitions. Thus, even in the first year of the post-Pep Guardiola era, the Sky Blues have not lowered their ambitions. At least, that is what Gianluigi Donnarumma emphatically reiterated.

"I don't really like the word 'transition'. The club's objective is to win. We will do everything possible to achieve that. The objective is to go all the way and fight for every title on offer. The Premier League, the Champions League and the two domestic cups," the Italian goalkeeper told Sky Sports.

Winners of the League Cup and the FA Cup last season, City hope to reclaim their English crown and dream of a second Champions League triumph.
