Manchester City: the verdict is in on Antoine Semenyo
Injured last Saturday, Antoine Semenyo will miss at least two months of competition with Manchester City.
Since Saturday, Manchester City had feared the worst for Ghanaian international forward Antoine Semenyo (26, 7 appearances and 2 goals in the Premier League this season). He was injured against Ipswich (3-2) in the league on Saturday. It was suspected to be a possible tear of the cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The good news is that the diagnosis is not as serious for Antoine Semenyo. His return to competition is hoped for before Christmas.
"At first, we thought his injury would be more serious. After yesterday's MRI, we are much more reassured: it is less significant than we feared. He will be out for eight weeks. The most important thing now is that he recovers well. When he returns in December, it will be like a new signing," Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca said at a press conference on Monday.
