Manchester United have intensified their push to secure the signature of Paris Saint-Germain's 18-year-old winger Ibrahima Mbaye. The Premier League side have already opened direct channels of communication with the youngster's representatives, seeking to clarify his contractual expectations and assess his appetite for a switch to Old Trafford.

Liverpool are very interested in Ibrahima Mbaye!

Liverpool had previously registered their interest in the Senegalese talent, but according to FourFourTwo, the Anfield outfit ultimately backed away upon learning of PSG's valuation—believed to fall in the €40–50 million bracket.

Mbaye is regarded as a player capable of bolstering United's right flank, though his adaptability across multiple attacking roles adds further appeal. The Red Devils envision him as a project for the future, and the player himself is said to be receptive to the prospect of testing himself in English football.

The teenager already boasts a remarkable CV: he became PSG's youngest-ever first-team debutant at just 16 years, 6 months, and 23 days, and has since accumulated 41 senior appearances for the French champions. He also left a lasting impression in a recent pre-season friendly against United, which finished 1-1. Remarkably, at only 18, Mbaye has already lifted the Champions League trophy on two separate occasions.

Manchester United are competing with Everton for the deal!

As reported by CaughtOffside, Manchester United are already in talks to sign star Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain amid genuine interest from Liverpool in the player as well.

According to reports, Manchester United are looking for genuine competition for Amad Diallo on the right flank and a real boost for manager Michael Carrick. At just 18 years old, he would be an excellent addition to that position.

As some press sources have indicated, Manchester United have already contacted the player's representatives and want to obtain a final decision from him regarding his desire to play in the Champions League. This is something United can achieve after qualifying for Europe's most prestigious club competition next season.
