Manchester United enters the race for Julián Álvarez

The future of Julián Álvarez continues to fuel speculation. Previously linked with several European giants, the Atlético Madrid striker has now attracted the interest of Manchester United.

According to the Spanish daily Diario AS, the Red Devils have already taken the first step by reaching out to the player’s representatives to assess the feasibility of a transfer during this summer window. Manchester United reportedly holds an additional advantage in these negotiations: several players from their squad are of interest to Atlético Madrid, opening the door to a potential swap deal—a formula that could ease talks between the two clubs.

In recent weeks, Álvarez has also been listed as a target for FC Barcelona, Arsenal FC, and Paris Saint-Germain. However, Spanish media reports that the Argentine international would prioritize a move to Barça above all. The main man himself, under contract with Atlético Madrid until 2030, has recently hinted that an exit could be on the cards.
