Manchester United have found a new goalkeeper
Manchester United are on the verge of signing a new goalkeeper. According to The Athletic, the club is close to finalizing the transfer of Karl Darlow.
Back in the Champions League, Manchester United are looking to bolster their squad ahead of a crucial season. After progressing on several fronts, the English club’s management has decided to add experience between the posts. Karl Darlow is expected at Old Trafford following the announced departure of Altay Bayındır. The Welsh shot-stopper still needs to complete his medical before signing his contract with the Red Devils.
At 35, Darlow boasts a wealth of experience in English football. He has notably played for Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, Hull City, and Leeds United. The former Welsh international, who has 15 caps, is expected to arrive as the second-choice keeper behind Senne Lammens. A new chapter begins for him at one of England’s most storied clubs.
