Manchester United has reportedly stepped up its pursuit of Michael Kayode, the young Brentford defender, according to TEAMtalk.

At 21 years old, Kayode joined Brentford last year on loan from Fiorentina before the club secured his permanent transfer. This season, he has impressed in the Premier League and is helping his team chase a European spot. With Diogo Dalot potentially departing, United is searching for a replacement and sees Kayode as a serious candidate. Brentford is in no rush to sell and is demanding over £50 million for their Nigerian-born player, who is under contract until 2030.

Kayode is also attracting interest from several European giants: Manchester City, Newcastle, Real Madrid, PSG, and Bayern Munich are all monitoring his development. Fast, strong, dominant in the air, and capable of delivering dangerous crosses, he is comfortable operating from the back and remains a highly promising talent. The question now is whether Manchester United will make a move for him during the summer transfer window.
