Manchester United isn't giving up on Carlos Baleba

Manchester United continues to keep a close eye on Carlos Baleba. According to the latest reports, the English club could reopen talks to sign Brighton's midfielder in the coming weeks.

Last summer, a transfer deal fell through due to Brighton's financial demands, with the club asking for £100 million at the time. Now, the Cameroonian's price tag is believed to have dropped to around £70 million. That figure is still considered too high by Manchester United, with the Red Devils prepared to invest roughly £50 million.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Baleba is interested in a move to Old Trafford. The prospect of joining Manchester United and working under Michael Carrick is said to be very appealing to him. For now, Brighton has yet to receive a new offer. Manchester United prefers to wait for the club's demands to potentially drop before making a move.
