Manchester United are reportedly close to officially confirming the signing of Liverpool academy winger Isaac Konde. DailySports reports that the clubs have reached an agreement for the 16-year-old prospect.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed that United are preparing to announce the move. Konde is expected to initially sign a one-year scholarship agreement before progressing to a five-year professional contract.

The compensation package payable to Liverpool could reportedly reach a seven-figure amount, underlining the level of confidence United have in the young winger’s potential.

Konde joined Liverpool’s academy in 2018 and made six appearances for the Under-18 side during the 2025/26 season, providing one assist.

The transfer represents another example of Manchester United investing in young talent from a Premier League rival. The teenager is expected to join United’s Under-18 setup, where he will continue his development.
