Manchester United reignites the Carlos Baleba pursuit
Manchester United could be set to make another move for Carlos Baleba. According to several reports, the English club is once again considering signing the Brighton defensive midfielder this summer.
The 22-year-old Cameroon international has quickly established himself as a key figure at Brighton since his arrival in 2023. His performances in the Premier League have caught the eye of several major European clubs, including Manchester United, who had already shown interest in previous transfer windows. According to Give Me Sport, the player remains open to a move to Old Trafford.
However, Brighton have no intention of letting their player go on the cheap. The club is reportedly demanding around £70 million to part ways with their midfielder, who is under contract until 2028 (with an additional option). This season, Baleba has started 23 times in the Premier League, further cementing his status as a key player in the Seagulls' engine room.
