Mercato: European interest in Simon Adingra
After returning to Sunderland following a loan spell at Monaco, Simon Adingra is not short of suitors. According to Foot Mercato, several top-flight clubs are closely monitoring the 24-year-old Ivorian international, who is under contract with the Black Cats until 2030.
In Serie A, Roma have reportedly added him to their shortlist and are keeping a keen eye on his situation.
Meanwhile, in Germany, RB Leipzig have also entered the race to bolster their attacking line. In England, the Premier League is moving assertively. Newly promoted Ipswich Town and Hull City are eager to sign the Ivorian winger to add firepower to their squads.
Even Monaco, where he shone last season, are considering bringing him back, though the principality club prefers another loan deal.
Despite a modest showing at the World Cup, the Ivorian's value remains undiminished. A summer exit from Sunderland cannot be ruled out.
