Mike Maignan will not leave AC Milan

After weeks of uncertainty, Mike Maignan is set to extend his stay at AC Milan. The French goalkeeper, 30, has reached a verbal agreement with the club for a five-year contract that will tie him to the Rossoneri until 2031, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The situation was delicate: several English clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United, had made inquiries, but Maignan ultimately decided to remain at San Siro. This move secures one of the team's key pillars, crucial for their Serie A title ambitions.

This season, the goalkeeper continues to impress: in 24 matches, he has kept 11 clean sheets, confirming his status as one of Europe's top keepers.
