Al Nassr are monitoring Cristiano Ronaldo’s muscle injury, but early reports suggest it is minor ahead of key Saudi Pro League matches.

Reports from Saudi media revealed concern inside Al Nassr after Cristiano Ronaldo left the recent match against Al Fayha with muscle discomfort.

The Portuguese star appeared affected late in the game. Although he also missed a penalty during the match, medical concerns quickly became the main focus for the club and supporters.

Initial medical reports described the issue as a minor muscle strain, meaning Ronaldo is expected to need only a short rest before returning to action.

It's worth noting that the Portuguese legend is steadily approaching an unprecedented milestone: reaching 1,000 official goals in his football career.

As of March 2026, Ronaldo scored 965 goal and needed just 35 more to break the millennium mark.

Focus on the title race

Al Nassr currently sit at the top of the Saudi Pro League table and are pushing to stay ahead in the title race.
