Mohamed Salah Hints at Possible Liverpool Exit Amid Contract Uncertainty

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah's raised fresh doubts about his future at Anfield as his contract situation remains unresolved. The Egyptian superstar’s deal expires in the summer of 2025, yet discussions over extension have reportedly stalled.

Despite Salah’s repeated desire to stay, reports suggest that disagreements over contract length and salary have complicated negotiations. The club reportedly prefers short term extension while Salah's pushing for longer commitment.

Speaking to TNT Sports, the 32 year old addressed liverpool fans with heartfelt message: “I want them to remember that I gave everything for the fans and the city. I was never lazy I enjoyed my football and I gave it all.”

While Salah expressed his deep connection with Liverpool, his response about breaking records in england sparked speculation: “If I stay in this country, I'll think about it, but right now my focus is on winning the Premier League. Let’s see what happens at the end of the season.”

Liverpool’s Hesitation and Salah’s Next Move

According to english media reports, Liverpool's hesitant about offering long term deal due to Salah’s age and high wages, the egyptian forward continues to deliver exceptional performances, leading the PL goal charts with 25 goal and 16 assist this season.

Club legend Steven McManaman directly asked Salah about any updates on his contract. Salah simply shook his head and responded: “No nothing new.”

Salah's long been linked with move away with reports suggesting that Manchester United, Arsenal and Saudi Pro League clubs are monitoring the situation. His value remains high with estimated market worth of 40 million euro.

Despite the uncertainty, Salah insists he's fully committed to Liverpool’s success this season: “In the past I focused more on myself. Now I focus on my teammates and making them better. This season, my assists are higher and players like Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz are having their best seasons.”
