Mohamed Salah to Beşiktaş: a decisive meeting to unlock the transfer

Beşiktaş is not backing down on Mohamed Salah. The Turkish club is pushing hard to sign the Egyptian striker, with a crucial meeting set for Tuesday in Istanbul with his agent, Ramy Abbas.

The Istanbul club’s executives had already reached a preliminary agreement with the player, but the deal has yet to be finalized. The sticking point: additional demands from Salah’s representative, especially regarding commission fees. Beşiktaş president Serdal Adalı is determined to stay within the club’s set limits. The offer on the table is believed to be around €12 million, but the agent’s requirements are currently holding up the signing.

Despite the current impasse, optimism remains high in the Turkish camp. Beşiktaş is confident they can wrap up the deal soon and unveil the former Liverpool star to their fans at the upcoming European clash against Midtjylland. At 34, Mohamed Salah is still a global icon. Since joining Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017, he has cemented his reputation as a top striker and continues to attract the attention of ambitious clubs.
