Montpellier: Is Wahbi Khazri on his way out?

Wahbi Khazri could soon be leaving Montpellier HSC. His season in Ligue 1 has not lived up to expectations, with only one goal and one assist in 25 matches. His contract, which expires next June, has yet to be extended.

According to Maghreb Foot, the Tunisian forward is attracting interest from Al Taï, a Saudi second division club. However, Khazri does not seem keen on an adventure in the Gulf. The 32-year-old player would prefer to stay in Europe to finish his professional career.

Khazri's future remains uncertain. If no agreement is reached with Montpellier for an extension, a transfer this summer seems inevitable. The Saudi Arabia option appears to be ruled out, but several European clubs might position themselves to attract the Tunisian attacking midfielder.
