Naples secures the future of Frank Anguissa

SSC Naples has reportedly decided to extend the contract of André-Frank Zambo Anguissa. According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the Italian club has activated the two-year extension option included in the Cameroonian midfielder's contract. Anguissa is now tied to the Partenopei until June 2027.

Arriving in 2021 from Fulham, Anguissa has established himself as an indispensable starter within the 2023 Italian champions. This season, the 29-year-old has already played 29 matches across all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists.

With this extension, Naples ensures they retain a key component of their midfield, valued for his physical presence, ball recovery, and ability to drive forward. It's a strong message from the club, which relies on the Cameroonian for the seasons to come.
