Uncertainty surrounds the future of André-Frank Zambo Anguissa in Naples. Initially rumored to be leaving, the Cameroonian midfielder might end up staying longer than expected.

After the 2-1 victory against AC Milan, Napoli's sporting director, Giovanni Mann, clarified the situation:

I repeat, we are focused on today. Frank still has a two-year option. For now, it's not a topic of discussion, we will talk about it at the end of the championship. Our goal is the Champions League, let's stay calm.

A way to reassure the fans? Perhaps. But also a sign that Naples has not yet decided on the future of the Indomitable Lion. At 29, the former Marseille player remains a key element of Napoli's midfield. This season, he has played 28 matches, scored 5 goals, and provided 3 assists in Serie A. His contract runs until June 30, 2027, and any decision will likely depend on the club's ambitions at the end of the season.
