Nasreddine Nabi has secured his first win as Raja Club Athletic head coach in a seven-goal thriller against Renaissance Club Zemamra in the Botola Pro League.

Sabir Bougrine broke the deadlock to put the Green Eagles in front in the 13th minute, before Azzedine Laftah doubled the lead nine minutes later.

However, Nabi's men surrendered the two-goal cushion as Ishak Zidani swiftly pulled one back for the home team, while Nawfal Tahiri leveled matters in the 32nd minute.

Ayoub El Amloud restored the lead for Raja four minutes after the hour-mark, before Besar Halimi made it 4-2 four minutes from time.

While the Casablanca giants thought they had put the game to bed, Zemamra found the back of the net through Mohsine Moutaouali in stoppage time.

Raja held on firmly to walk away with maximum points as they sit fourth with 46 points accumulated from 25 league outings.

Nabi's troops trail log leaders AS FAR with three points in a heated title race including Wydad Athletic Club, RS Berkane, and MAS Fes, with five games remaining.

The former Kaizer Chiefs mentor took over the reins from South African tactician Fadlu Davids last week, and has overseen two matches, having drawn the first one.
