Netherlands - Spain: No winner in this spectacular duel

A thrilling duel, plenty of chances, and a tied scoreline. The Netherlands and Spain delivered an intense match in Rotterdam (2-2), unable to break the deadlock in this first leg of the Nations League quarterfinals.

La Roja strikes first. In the 9th minute, Nico Williams takes advantage of a precise pass and places an unstoppable shot into the bottom corner. Ten minutes later, Morata nearly doubles the lead, his header grazing the post.

The Oranje respond. Van Dijk misses an initial opportunity before Cody Gakpo equalizes in the 28th minute. The forward capitalizes on a Kluivert assist and beats Unai Simón. The hosts press on. Tijjani Reijnders, with a long-range shot, hits the crossbar.
