New developments regarding Harry Kane’s future at Bayern Munich
New information has emerged in recent hours regarding the future of English striker Harry Kane at Bayern Munich.
Kane and Bayern reach agreement in principle
According to Fabrizio Romano and Florian Plettenberg, Harry Kane and Bayern Munich have reached an agreement in principle on the salary terms of his new contract. The latest discussions are now focused on certain details, particularly the length of the deal and the various clauses.
The England captain is therefore expected to extend his contract with the Bavarian club until the summer of 2029. His current deal runs until the end of June 2027. However, the signing of the new contract has not yet been scheduled, as the final details still need to be completed.
Having joined Bayern in the summer of 2023 from Tottenham, Kane quickly established himself as one of the team’s key players. In 154 official matches, the English striker has scored 152 goals and provided 34 assists.
Since arriving in Bavaria, Kane has won two German league titles, one German Cup and two German Super Cups. He has also finished as the Bundesliga’s top scorer in each of his first three seasons with Bayern.
