Neymar responds to Ancelotti after being left out of the squad

Neymar has finally broken his silence. Left off Carlo Ancelotti’s list for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the 33-year-old Brazilian forward reacted on Instagram.

While the manager explained that the player first needed to resolve “a small issue” before returning to the Seleção, Neymar posted a cryptic message alongside a photo of himself training:

Success comes from desire, determination and perseverance… Even if you don’t reach your goal, those who overcome obstacles at least accomplish admirable things.

With 6 goals and 3 assists in 19 matches for Santos this season, the former Barça, PSG, and Al-Hilal star is still struggling to regain his consistency. Ancelotti, who nonetheless praised his talent, is waiting for physical assurances and improved performances before considering a recall.
