Terem Moffi is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel after a prolonged seven-month absence due to a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee that occurred in July 2024. Since February 2025, the 25-year-old Nigerian international has resumed collective training with his OGC Nice teammates. Despite this encouraging progress, the Eagles' coach remains cautious about an imminent return to official competition.

“He might need a little more time, but it's encouraging,” said coach Franck Haise.

This caution is understandable, given the severity of the injury and the need for complete rehabilitation to avoid any relapse. Additionally, OGC Nice is showing a positive dynamic in the championship. The Eagles currently hold the 3rd place in the Ligue 1 standings.
