Nicolas Nkoulou is once again a free agent

Nicolas Nkoulou is now free of any contract. He has officially left Amedspor, who play in Turkey's second division, and will need to find a new destination. The club cited a mutual agreement for the separation with the Cameroonian center-back.

After returning to Amedspor this summer following a six-month loan at Sakaryaspor, Nicolas Nkoulou will ultimately not continue the adventure. Despite a distinguished career featuring stints with Olympique de Marseille, Olympique Lyonnais, and Torino, he was unable to secure a lasting place in the squad. He wrapped up the season with 32 appearances, including 17 for Amedspor before being sent out on loan.

At 35, the AS Monaco academy graduate has yet to reveal his plans for the remainder of his career. The former Indomitable Lions captain could seek a fresh challenge or possibly pursue a new path off the pitch. The suspense around Nicolas Nkoulou's future remains intact.
