Nigeria depleted ahead of friendlies against Poland and Portugal

Nigeria will have to make do without several of its key players for their friendly matches against Poland and Portugal.

Head coach Eric Chelle has confirmed a string of major absences, forcing him to rethink his plans for these crucial warm-up games. The attack will be hit hardest, with Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Samuel Chukwueze all missing out.

Deprived of several regular starters, the Super Eagles will have to rely on their rotation players to stand up to Poland and Portugal. It’s also a chance to test the squad’s depth ahead of upcoming official competitions.
