Noah Sonko joins Göztepe

Göztepe has officially announced the signing of Noah Sonko. The Gambian centre-back has committed to the Turkish club until June 2028, with an option for an additional year.

At 30 years old, Noah Sonko arrives from Ludogorets Razgrad. Last season, he was loaned to Aris FC in Greece, where he played in 14 league matches. Born in Sweden but a Gambian international, Sonko brings substantial experience in European football. He has played for several clubs before joining Ludogorets, with whom he has featured in continental competitions.

With this signing, Göztepe strengthens its defensive line with an experienced player, capable of bringing both solidity and leadership. The Turkish club, who finished sixth in the Süper Lig last season, continues to build its squad for the upcoming campaign.
