Official: Amadou Diawara Finds a New Home in Spain
After several weeks of unemployment, the former RSC Anderlecht midfielder has secured a new contract. On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Guinean Amadou Diawara officially signed with CD Eldense until the end of the season.
Amadou Diawara is set to return to action after being without a club since his departure from Anderlecht in Belgium. The 27-year-old midfielder is making his first move to Spain. He has joined a club in the Spanish second division. “CD Eldense SAD has signed an agreement with Amadou Diawara until June 30, 2025,” the Liga 2 club announced this morning.
CD Eldense currently sits in 19th place in the Spanish Liga 2 standings and is counting on the Guinean international to make a significant contribution to their results. It's a good opportunity for the Anderlecht flop to regain stability and relaunch his career. Amadou Diawara has already begun training with the Elda-based club.
