Official: Amara Diouf announces his departure from Génération Foot
Amara Diouf has bid farewell to Génération Foot. On Instagram, the 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations champion posted a farewell message on Saturday, June 20.
"After more than 9 years at Génération Foot, it is time to open a new chapter in my life. This club welcomed me when I was just nine years old and helped me grow, learn, and develop on every level. Everything I have achieved started here," wrote the Senegalese forward.
Arriving as a young boy, he leaves the club today at 18 as a promising talent and U-17 AFCON champion. Génération Foot has given him the fundamentals and continues to produce top talents after Sadio Mané and Ismaïla Sarr.
Now, his next stop is Turkey. Amara Diouf has signed with Fenerbahçe on a five-year deal. He is set to embrace a new challenge in the Turkish Süper Lig and at the highest level of European football.
