Official: Barcelona complete permanent signing of Abdul Aziz Issah

Abdul Aziz Issah continues his adventure in Barcelona. On July 27, Barcelona officially announced the permanent signing of the 20-year-old attacking midfielder for Barcelona Atlètic.

Abdul Aziz Issah has inked a two-year deal with an option for an additional season, tying him to the club until June 30, 2028. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of José Ramón Alexanko, director of football at the Catalan club’s academy. Before joining full training, Issah successfully passed his medical exam.

After initially joining on loan from Dreams FC in 2024 and having that loan extended for another year last summer, the Ghanaian earned the trust of the management. Last season in the Segunda División with Barcelona Atlètic, he featured in 20 matches, netted 4 goals, and provided 1 assist.
