Official: Douglas Costa makes a comeback in Italy
Free since terminating his contract with Sydney FC last autumn, Douglas Costa has found a new destination. The 35-year-old Brazilian winger has signed with AC Chievo, as the Italian club officially announced on its website.
The former Bayern Munich and Juventus player has penned a deal running until the end of the season. This marks a new chapter in the Brazilian's career, who had been without a club since September. Currently competing in Serie D, AC Chievo sits second in the standings and is aiming for promotion. Costa will bring his wealth of experience to a young squad, with the ambition of helping the club climb back to the upper divisions.
