Official: Jordi Alba announces his professional retirement

A few days after Sergio Busquets, it's now Jordi Alba's turn to call time on his career.

Just days ago, Sergio Busquets officially retired. This Tuesday, another legendary name in Spanish football bids farewell to the professional game: Jordi Alba.

Indeed, in a video posted on Instagram, the Inter Miami left-back announced he will hang up his boots at the end of the season. Although under contract with the Florida club until 2027, Alba has chosen to follow in the footsteps of Sergio Busquets, who revealed the same decision just a few weeks ago.
