Official: Malick Thiaw sidesteps Senegal and chooses Germany

Germany has just announced its squad for the November 2025 fixtures, with none other than Malick Thiaw making the list.

Just minutes after Senegal released its squad, Germany unveiled Julian Nagelsmann's selections for the November camp. Leroy Sané makes his much-anticipated return, while Serge Gnabry, Joshua Kimmich, and Florian Wirtz are all present to maintain the team's momentum.

This call-up is particularly notable as it marks the first time Malick Thiaw joins the German national team. Not long ago, he was widely expected to join Senegal’s Lions of Teranga. A betrayal?
