Official: Mammar Chaouche leaves MC Oran

MC Oran has officially announced the departure of Abdelkarim Mammar Chaouche. The 29-year-old defender is now a free agent following the end of his spell in Algeria.

Arriving in the summer of 2024 from Sweden, the player had signed a three-year contract. However, his journey with MCO comes to an end after just two seasons. In the last campaign, Mammar Chaouche featured in 23 league matches, starting 12 of them. He was a regular presence, though never an undisputed starter in the Oran defense.

The club finished fourth in the league, capping off an overall solid season. Now a free agent, the defender will weigh up his next move as several clubs are expected to show interest in the coming weeks.
