Senegal international M’Baye Niang has signed with Gençlerbirliği.

After a disappointing season at Sampdoria, M’Baye Niang returns to Turkey. The Senegalese striker has joined Gençlerbirliği, newly promoted to the Süper Lig.

“Gençlerbirliği has signed 30-year-old striker M’Baye Niang, a former Sampdoria player. Our team has agreed a two-year contract with the player, who holds both Senegalese and French nationality. M’Baye Niang, who also played for Adana Demirspor in our country during the 2023-2024 season, has previously represented SM Caen, Milan, Montpellier, Genoa, Watford, Torino, Rennes, Al-Ahli, G.Bordeaux, AJ Auxerre, Adana Demirspor, Empoli, Wydad, and Sampdoria. We welcome M’Baye Niang to our family and wish him success in the Rossoneri shirt,” the club announced.
