Orlando Pirates have continued to reinforce their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season, announcing the acquisition of three new players.

The Buccaneers have roped in highly-rated central midfielder Matome Mmolai from Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Leicesterford City to bolster midfield options.

Pirates also acquired the services of two left-backs in Neo Rapoo and Aphiwe Baliti from Siwelele FC, with the latter set to remain on loan at the Bloemfontein-based outfit.

The defending Betway Premiership champions also confirmed the arrival of Sbangani Zulu, Ghampani Lungu, Bohale Ngwato, and Mthetheleli Mthiyane earlier this month.

Abdeslam Ouaddou has been tasked with clinching the elusive CAF Champions League title, having ended the club's 14-year drought for a league title in the last term.

Notably, the Moroccan tactician won a treble in his first season in charge of the Soweto giants as he also lifted the MTN8 and the Carling Knockout Cup.

Despite speculations about a possible exit amid a reported interest from North Africa and the Middle East, Ouaddou looks set to remain at the helm of Pirates next season.

Whether he will deliver the coveted Champions League title remains to be seen, with Pirates' last continental glory dating back all the way to 1995.
