Official: Ruben Alexandre Compaoré signs with Slavia Prague

We reported it exclusively. Now it's official. Ruben Alexandre Compaoré, the 20-year-old Burkinabè defender, is leaving Dila Gori and signing with Slavia Prague.

His rise has been meteoric. Arriving in February 2026 at FC Dila Gori in Georgia, Ruben Alexandre Compaoré wasted no time making an impact. Just six months later, he's reached a new milestone. The 1.93m central defender has signed a four-year contract with Slavia Prague, tying him to the Czech powerhouse until 2030.

Trained at the Basga JO Academy, the left-footer first made a name for himself at the TalentMax Youth League in Burkina Faso in 2024. After a stint in Israel, he proved himself in Georgia before landing in the Czech Republic.

A left-footed central defender who can also play out wide, he ticks all the boxes of the modern profile sought after in Europe. In just two years, the Burkinabè native has gone from Israel to Georgia, and now to Prague. He will continue his development at the highest European level with Slavia.
