On Sunday night, Endrick shone with two decisive assists against Olympique de Marseille (3-2) in Ligue 1. The Brazilian could have had an even greater impact.

The Olympique Lyonnais forward missed two chip attempts over Marseille goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli, and could have added more assists to his tally if not for a marginal offside by Corentin Tolisso and the lack of finishing from Tanner Tessmann or Rémi Himbert. For his part, Alain Giresse expects more from the Brazilian.

"There are players like Endrick. He’s presented as someone from another dimension. I’m still left wanting more. In this kind of match, he really needs to make the difference. He had a great chance where he tried a very difficult lob. These are the players who need to deliver in big moments," he told L'Équipe on Monday.
