OL: Endrick sets an impressive record
Endrick

On fire at OL, Endrick bagged a hat-trick this Sunday against FC Metz. The young Brazilian seized the opportunity to claim a new record.

On loan from Real Madrid, Endrick has become the youngest player in Olympique Lyonnais history to score three goals in a single match. This feat came after his hat-trick yesterday against FC Metz. The Brazilian’s rapid adaptation allowed him to achieve this at just 19 years old, breaking a record that had stood for nearly 52 years, previously held by the late Bernard Lacombe. Lacombe had set the mark at 19 years and 196 days back in February 1972.

Endrick also becomes the fourth youngest player to score a hat-trick in Ligue 1 since the turn of the century, behind Jérémy Ménez (17 years and 260 days), Kylian Mbappé (18 years and 53 days), and Ousmane Dembélé (18 years and 296 days).
