According to L’Équipe, Amine Harit is firmly in Bruno Genesio’s plans for the new campaign after catching the French manager’s eye during preseason friendlies.

The Moroccan’s future at OM was in doubt when he returned from his loan at Istanbul Başakşehir, where he played last season in the Turkish Super Lig.

Wearing the Istanbul club’s colors, Harit made 26 appearances, scoring two goals and providing four assists.

However, his performances in preseason seem to have changed everything. Genesio demonstrated his trust by starting him in three of Marseille’s last four friendly matches.

This renewed confidence could give Amine Harit the chance to reignite his Marseille adventure and establish himself after a difficult spell under former coach Roberto De Zerbi.
