Orlando Pirates: Abdeslam Ouaddou confirms he will stay with the team for next season!

In the past few weeks, there has been much speculation about Abdeslam Ouaddou's future with Orlando Pirates, whether the coach will stay or leave the team soon, but it seems that the Moroccan coach will stay with the team.

Betway Premiership champion is expected to stay with the team after his latest statements about his future, in which he said that despite the pressure and fatigue, he is determined to continue with the team for a long time.

After weeks of speculation, the coach has finally silenced the doubts surrounding his future. He took to social media to share a heartfelt tribute to his team, putting an end to the rumors once and for all.

In an emotional post, Ouaddou opened up with a personal message: “I’m writing this straight from the heart—to offer my deepest thanks and sincere congratulations to every one of you.”

He went on to praise the squad’s relentless effort, saying, “Thank you for your hard work, your priceless know-how, your unwavering commitment, your personal sacrifices, and above all, your deep passion for football and for the Orlando Pirates.”

Looking back at the season, Ouaddou reflected on their shared journey. “The photos of our victorious crew bring back great memories. We’ve done a colossal amount of work this season. Like true pirates, we’ve sailed every sea and weathered every storm—and in the end, we brought the treasure home.”

He also acknowledged the fans, describing them as wonderful yet demanding. “We made them truly happy this season, and I deeply hope we can continue bringing them that joy in the coming season. But for now, rest well and enjoy your time with your families.”

In a candid moment, he added, “I need that myself—to disconnect and recharge. Because when we return, I’ll need you all again for a special mission: to set sail for the CAF competition and bring back another massive treasure—without letting anyone steal the one already sitting safely in our cave.”

He closed with a warm embrace in words: “Have a great rest, everyone. Come back ready for a new adventure. I love you all.”
