Oscarine Masuluke in talks to join PSL club
Foot Africa has established that Betway Premiership club Polokwane City are working on a deal to sign goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old shot-stopper recently parted ways with Stellenbosch FC at the end of the 2025/26 campaign, in a mass exodus at the Cape Winelands outfit.
He had joined Stellies in July 2023 from Baroka FC, where he earned a 2017 FIFA Puskas Award nomination for his bicycle kick goal against Orlando Pirates.
Masuluke made 30 appearances across all competitions during his time at Stellenbosch, and kept a total of 12 clean sheets in the process.
Now, sources have indicated the experienced goalie has joined the Polokwane City camp, with discussions over a potential move described as positive.
It's understood that personal terms are not expected to be an issue as Masuluke is keen on a return to the Limpopo province.
Rise and Shine, meanwhile, saw a deal for Ghanaian goalkeeper Abdulai Iddrisu collapse at the eleventh hour, owing to high agents fees.
On the other hand, Brian Bwire parted ways with the club, leaving Mashudu Makhavhu and Lindokuhle Mathebula, among others, as the goalies.
Polokwane City and Masuluke will undoubtedly be working around the clock to swiftly reach total agreement, with both parties seemingly in need of each other.
