Pep Guardiola says no to Leo Messi’s Inter Miami

Pep Guardiola is not expected to join Inter Miami despite the American club’s interest. According to multiple sources, the Spanish manager has declined David Beckham’s approach.

With his cycle at Manchester City coming to an end—he’ll leave this summer after a decade of success—the 55-year-old tactician remains one of the top targets for the MLS club as they look to bolster their sporting project. However, Guardiola is said to have a different plan: stepping back after ten years at the Citizens’ helm, despite a contract running through to 2027.

Arriving at Manchester City in 2016, the former FC Barcelona manager has left an indelible mark on English football with six Premier League titles and a Champions League triumph. Inter Miami will now have to look elsewhere to replace Javier Mascherano and continue their growth in Major League Soccer.
