Golden Arrows head coach Pitso Dladla has revealed what his team will do to finish off Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of their MTN8 semi-final clash on Sunday.

Abafana Bes'thende stunned the Brazilians as they emerged victorious at the Lucas Moripe Stadium over the weekend, thanks to a solitary goal from marksman Junior Sede Dion.

The KwaZulu-Natal outfit head into the high-stakes return leg with one foot in the final, and Dladla says his troops will be aggressive in a bid to draw first blood on home soil.

“The nature of the tournament, the semis are a two-legged tie, you get a goal away you've got an away goal advantage. So, we will be more aggressive in our approach,” said the Arrows boss.

"But we're still going to sit together as the technical team and plan well, but we need to be aggressive because if we can be able to score first or get a goal at home, we stand a bigger chance to emerge victorious.

On the shock win over Miguel Cardoso's men in the capital, the former Durban City mentor hailed his players' workrate, expressing pride in how his team executed the game plan.

“What makes me happy is for the players to work so hard, work their hearts out, leave the skin on the field of play, and then at the end of the day we managed to win the game,” Dladla added.

"Sometimes you give the same desire, the same commitment and you don't win the game because really one feels for these players and then one is also proud for the players who works their hearts out like that.

Arrows, meanwhile, return to action with a Betway Premiership clash against Stellenbosch FC at King Zwelithini Stadium on Wednesday, 26 August, before the return leg against Sundowns.
