Portugal: Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodríguez takes aim at Jesus

In recent hours, Georgina Rodríguez has become embroiled in the controversy surrounding her husband, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Jorge Jesus.

Married to Cristiano Ronaldo for a few months now, Georgina Rodríguez shared an Instagram story featuring a post relaying a quote attributed to Sir Alex Ferguson. In the quote, the former Manchester United manager criticized the Portugal coach for calling up Ronaldo without giving him any playing time. The quote turned out to be false, as no credible source has attributed it to the Scottish coach.

In response to this post, Georgina Rodríguez took aim at Jorge Jesus, Portugal's coach. “I don't know how this man can have the name of Christ,” she wrote, before quickly deleting her story.

The original post, from the Hispanic Sports Media page, is still available on Instagram, but no reliable source has confirmed the comments attributed to Ferguson.
