Premier League: Salah finds the net again but...

It was a night of mixed emotions for Mohamed Salah. The Liverpool striker finally broke his long Premier League goal drought, but his team suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Salah scored with a trademark finish after capitalizing on a defensive error, proving he still has the ability to make the difference. This goal ends the longest barren spell of his Premier League career (122 days without scoring), a topic that had generated much discussion in recent months.

Despite this personal achievement, Liverpool couldn't hold onto the result. A late goal from Wolverhampton sealed victory for the hosts and complicated the Reds' race for European qualification. For Salah, however, the most important thing might be elsewhere: regaining confidence and stringing together strong performances. His goal could mark the start of a timely return to form as the season heats up.
