Preparation for the Women's Africa Cup of Nations: Cameroon enters training camp
The Cameroon Lionesses kicked off their preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco on Saturday, June 20, at the Technical Center of the Football Federation in Odja. This multi-day camp is part of their build-up for the tournament scheduled to take place this summer in Morocco.
The 42 players initially called up by coach Nguyala Valérie have already reported for duty. Under the watchful eyes of the technical staff, they are working intensely, aiming to fine-tune the squad and ensure optimal preparation.
This camp is primarily an evaluation phase. The squad will remain in camp until June 26, and at the end of this intensive week, Nguyala Valérie will announce the final list of players who will represent Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations.
