PSG: Cristiano Ronaldo’s magnificent gesture toward Kvaratskhelia

Moved by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s situation, Cristiano Ronaldo published a particularly personal message of support for the Paris Saint-Germain striker.

In difficult moments, solidarity transcends rivalries and generations. As Khvicha Kvaratskhelia faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Cristiano Ronaldo chose to publicly offer him his support. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner sent an encouraging message to the Paris Saint-Germain winger under an Instagram post by the Georgian player.

“The best is yet to come”: Cristiano Ronaldo’s words

The Portuguese star stressed the psychological difficulty of a major injury and the importance of maintaining confidence in one’s abilities. His message was also an invitation to look beyond the rehabilitation period:

“The toughest battles in football are often the ones nobody sees. I know that feeling, Kvara. But never forget what got you this far, and don’t let a difficult moment make you doubt everything you can achieve. Keep that flame burning. The best is yet to come.”

These words carry particular resonance for a player accustomed to making an impact in major matches. Ronaldo has thus joined the wave of solidarity surrounding the Georgian, who has already received support from Ousmane Dembélé following the announcement of his injury, as well as from his former club, Napoli.

A lengthy absence and a major challenge for PSG

Injured in his right knee during the match against FC Barcelona, Kvaratskhelia has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear that requires surgery. The length of his absence will depend on the operation and the progress of his rehabilitation. For Paris, the blow comes at a time when the club is seeking to defend its title in the Champions League.

The Georgian had scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists during the 2025-2026 European campaign. Beyond those figures, his bursts of pace, creativity and ability to beat opponents one-on-one represent valuable assets for the Parisian attack. His absence will therefore deprive Luis Enrique of a major weapon, both in chance creation and finishing.

A test that goes beyond the pitch

The player’s priority will now be to fully regain his abilities without rushing the process. For those around him and PSG supporters, the issue is no longer solely sporting: it is about supporting a comeback that will require patience. Cristiano Ronaldo’s message highlights precisely this often-invisible dimension of elite football.
