PSG: Did Luis Enrique refuse to extend his contract?

Luis Enrique has set the record straight regarding his future at Paris Saint-Germain. Contrary to recent reports, the Spanish coach has not turned down a contract extension.

Speaking to the media, he dismissed the speculation:

These are rumors that often circulate in Paris. There is a lot of false information, but it won't affect us.

Under contract with PSG until 2027, the 55-year-old manager acknowledged that talks are ongoing with the club's management, but refused to elaborate further. "Discussions are normal, but they remain confidential," he explained.

Since taking charge of the Parisian bench in 2023, the Spaniard has already made history by leading the club to a Champions League triumph—the greatest success in PSG's history so far. This achievement is sure to reassure fans about the stability of the project.
