PSG: Luis Enrique announces changes for the new season

Despite two consecutive Champions League titles, Luis Enrique is determined not to let his Paris Saint-Germain side settle into complacency as the 2026-2027 season kicks off.

Speaking at a press conference this Saturday, on the eve of the Trophée des Champions final, Parisian boss Luis Enrique explained why the French capital club is still looking to strengthen its squad during this summer transfer window.

"To keep winning, you have to make tough decisions, be ambitious, and recognize that the arrival of new players brings different energy and mentality. That’s the key to staying on top," the Spaniard said. Setting a high bar for new signings, Luis Enrique insisted that "a lot of players want to come to PSG," but not everyone fits his style of play. "If a player doesn't arrive here with a smile, it’s better to look for other options," he concluded.
